So, I kind of made a quick decision to officially do Camp NaNo when a Twitter friend was looking for cabinmates.
It’s going… well, it’s going.
I have a goal of 17K and I’m only 813 words in. Oops…
But later today are some word sprints and I’m hoping to write a ton during that. *crosses fingers for good luck*
I’m not quite ready to reveal this project yet (hopefully later this week? Or at least before the end of the month.), but it involves…
- A Ferret named Piper
That is all I’m saying right now.
Let’s see. What else is Katie up to…?
I read A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro. It was lovely, but a little too adult for my usual taste
so sayeth the 24 year old. But it was very Sherlock-y and cool.
I’m slowly reading The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. It’s going slowly. It’s nice, but slow.
I started The Maze Runner by James Dashner. Yes, I realize just how very late I am to this party.
I’m late to several literary parties, btw. I’ve never read Harry Potter. Or Twilight. Or The Hunger Games. I’m not actually sure I want to attend some of those parties. It’s going faster than TWatD is, though.
No one ask how reading The Count of Monte Cristo is going. Just don’t.
And that’s about it! What are you up to?
